Meet our lead doctor

Dr. David Cosman - HK Registered Chiropractor

Dr. Cosman graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic (USA) in 1984. His practice and professional focus has been with clinics and sports-teams.  He is a clinician and lecturer with expertise in chiropractic orthopedics, fascial science, foot orthotics, active movement technique and sports science.  He leads his clinic team with case-by-case collaboration; sharing expertise, insight and experience regarding assessment and treatment planning.

 

Dr. Cosman began practice in Calgary caring for athletes from professional wrestlers and divers to track and field sprinters, attending training sessions and touring with juniors and world elites.  Overlap in sports brought in the bobsledders, and Dr. Cosman joined the Canadian Olympic Team and World Cup Tour in 1988/89, caring not only for the Canadians, but also for the bob-athletes of England, Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand, East Germany, and Monaco.

Other sports tours for Dr. Cosman includes two Olympic Games, ATP (tennis), professional boxing, mountain ultra-marathon Action Asia races, HK national basketball team and Hong Kong Windsurfing. He was FICS (Federation of International Sports Chiropractic) senator for Hong Kong Chiropractors Association.

Dr. Cosman’s duties have included clinical and touring chiropractor, trainer (athletic therapist and strength & conditioning coach), nutritionist, and orthotist, covering first aid, ankle taping, spinal manipulation and teaching technique.
